Didn't do much to this photo except crop it and sharpen it up a little.

purple flowers on a rusty trellis

This is a digital painting from a macro shot using a 180mm Canon macro lens and a Canon 5D. The flowers are true to size. I think it is a more attractive image painted then as a straight photo. Cropped and increased saturation in Photoshop CS3 -- painting done in chalk using Painter X.
